2025 Chevrolet Trax vs 2025 Nissan Kicks near Naperville, IL

Subcompact SUVs offer an excellent blend of form and function, so visit Bill Kay Chevrolet for a closer look at the 2025 Chevrolet Trax! Also, read on to learn how it compares to others in its class, such as the 2025 Nissan Kicks.

Interior

Convenient interior amenities are abundant within the doors of the 2025 Chevy Trax. Get comfortable at a moment’s notice, thanks to the available 8-way power driver’s seat with 2-way power lumbar support in this car. This is clearly more impressive than the 6-way manual seat that Kicks offers. The passengers in the back row are not left out in the Chevy, as they are sure to be able to relax with help from the 38.7 inches of legroom in the rear seating area. Guests in the Nissan morel may be a bit less free, since it only has 34.5 inches of rear legroom. Remote start is also available in the Chevrolet Trax, so you can get the cabin warmed up during a chilly Naperville winter morning. This feature is unfortunately not present within the 2025 Kicks.

Performance

Turn your attention to the lively powertrain of the 2025 Chevrolet Trax, as its standard EcoTec 1.2L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine is ready to produce 137 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. The 141 horsepower and 140 lb.-ft. of torque that the 2025 Nissan Kicks generates with its standard 2.0L 4-cylinder engine is a bit less impressive. The standard 6-speed automatic transmission in the Trax is also able to supply quicker acceleration and more responsive handling than the standard Continuously Variable Transmission in the Kicks. It is worth noting that both of these cars offer standard idle stop and go, which turns the engine off when you’re at a standstill on I-88 and back on when you’re ready to proceed.

Outer Shell

Not only is the 2025 Trax more fearsome on the road, but it also has a more stylish exterior design! This comes in the form of available roof rack cross rails that allow you to store large gear atop the vehicle. This perk is not offered on the Kicks. The standard 16-inch steel wheels on the Nissan model also don’t compare to the standard 17-inch steel wheels on the 2025 Trax. The available paint colors on the Trax are also more vibrant, including Nitro Yellow Metallic, Cacti Green, and Marina Blue Metallic. Colors like Deep Blue Pearl and Canyon Bronze Metallic on the Kicks won’t help you stand out much from the crowd at Frontier Park. Last but not least, the automatic LED headlights on the Chevy Trax will make it easy to see at night. The Nissan model only has these on higher trim levels.
