Dealing with the team at Bill Kay was a smooth and painless experience. The team members were helpful and answered all questions promptly. Only thing is - I should have made a trip to Illinois and drove the car before I bought it. When it was delivered, I found a few mechanical issues I was not expecting. I'm sure it will tun out OK. When buying an antique or classic car, I would recommend making the trip and seeing the vehicle in person before buying.

Steve Vitogiannis was fantastic to work with—he asked the right questions to understand what we were looking for, listened carefully, and was flexible with scheduling so we could see the Traverse and complete the purchase over the course of several days. Joe Mugnolo also did an excellent job guiding us through the paperwork and financing, patiently answering our questions (even when we asked more than once). All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. This is the second car we’ve bought from Bill Kay Chevrolet, and it was another great experience. We’ll be going back when the time comes to purchase another car.

We visited this dealership to test drive a used vehicle
We visited this dealership to test drive a used vehicle that was advertised on Cars.com. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the test drive went well. We genuinely liked the car and told them we were interested in purchasing it if the terms were fair. When pricing was discussed, we were quoted a purchase price higher than the price listed on Cars.com. In addition, the trade-in offer was significantly lower than the Kelley Blue Book value, and a mandatory $3,200 protection package was added to the deal. We explained that we would consider moving forward if the $3,200 add-on could be removed. While the trade-in value was slightly improved, the dealership stated that the protection package could not be removed and did not match the original Cars.com price. Ultimately, we decided to walk away. While we were disappointed, as we expected to purchase the vehicle we test drove, we were not comfortable paying $3,200 more than anticipated.
